Bento de Jesus Caraça

Bento de Jesus Caraça (born April 18, 1901, and died June 25, 1948) was a notable Portuguese mathematician, professor, and anti-fascist resistance fighter. He left an extraordinary civic legacy defending the democratization of science and culture for the working classes.
