Cahora-Bassa Dam

On March 26, 1977, the structural energy supply began from the Cahora-Bassa dam, located on the Zambezi River in Mozambique. Considered one of the greatest hydroelectric engineering feats in Africa, it assumed highly relevant geopolitical significance in the region.
