Augusto Gil

Augusto Gil (born March 22, 1873, and died February 26, 1929) was a prominent Portuguese poet of the transition to modernism. His poetry, marked by a simple and nostalgic lyricism, was immortalized in national literature with iconic works such as "Balada da Neve".
