Arthur C. Clarke

Arthur C. Clarke (born December 16, 1917, and died March 18, 2008) was a visionary British science fiction writer and inventor. Author of the immortal work "2001: A Space Odyssey", his predictions about communications satellites deeply shaped the future of aerospace exploration and technology.
