Anniversary of the presentation of the "new" Estádio da Luz

The new Estádio da Luz, home of Sport Lisboa and Benfica, was presented to the press on September 13, 2003. With an impressive capacity for around 120,000 spectators, it was a significant milestone in the history of sport in Portugal. This modern stadium was designed to replace the previous one, offering state-of-the-art infrastructure to host major events, including the Euro 2004 final.
