Agnès Varda

Agnès Varda (born May 30, 1928, and died March 29, 2019) was a revolutionary French filmmaker, photographer, and visual artist. Considered one of the central pioneers of the Nouvelle Vague, she transformed European cinema with seminal works like "Cléo from 5 to 7", poetically and humanistically fusing documentary and fiction.
