On March 21, 1993, the Centro Cultural de Belém (CCB) officially opened its doors to the public in Lisbon. Conceived to host the European presidency, the complex quickly established itself as one of the most vibrant, influential, and dynamic hubs of artistic creation and dissemination in Portugal.
