Abade de Baçal

Francisco Manuel Alves, immortalized as Abade de Baçal (born April 9, 1865, and died November 13, 1947), was a notable Portuguese archaeologist and historian. His vast and meticulous research work forever preserved the memory and historical heritage of the Trás-os-Montes region.
