Júlio Dantas
Júlio Dantas (born May 19, 1876, and died May 25, 1962) was a prolific Portuguese doctor, writer, diplomat, and journalist. A prominent figure in national culture during the early 20th century, he presided over the Lisbon Academy of Sciences and left a vast literary and theatrical oeuvre, whose conservative tone inspired Almada Negreiros' famous "Anti-Dantas Manifesto".
